
DES MOINES, Iowa — Mercy College of Health Sciences Board of Directors recently approved the promotion of five faculty members, effective July 1. Three faculty members have been elevated to the rank of associate professor, and two to the rank of assistant professor.
“These promotions reflect the depth of expertise and dedication our faculty bring to their students and to the broader healthcare community,” said Tim Laurent, EdD, provost and vice president of academic affairs of Mercy College of Health Sciences. “Each of these individuals exemplifies the commitment to excellence and service that defines Mercy College.”
Promoted to associate professor are:
- Janet Whitney, MEd, MLS (ASCP)CM, SBB, Medical Laboratory Science
- Jennifer Wing, DNP, MSN-Ed, RN, Joyce E. Lillis School of Nursing
- Archana Indira, MD, Liberal Arts and Sciences
Promoted to assistant professor are:
- Gretchen Kilworth, MS, BSHCA, RT (R), Radiologic Technology
- Kelly Kraska, MEd, RDCS, RVT, Diagnostic Medical Sonography
