RESEARCH INTERESTS & PROFESSIONAL PROJECTS
I am an active scholar and have served on several research teams as PI, Co-PI, and Co- Researcher. My research and scholarship contribute directly to understanding the intersections between technology, curriculum design, clinical practice, and inter-professional education. Further, my scholarship has focused on improving nursing and midwifery education programs in the United States, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Ethiopia, and Canada. I hold a special place in my heart for students and clients from diverse ethnic backgrounds and have worked closely to support and improve the future for individuals from these groups. My work with vulnerable populations, the development and implementation of international education experiences, and international work has extended to Mexico, Ethiopia, Canada, and the Dominican Republic.
