Thanks to the generosity of numerous donors, Mercy College of Health Sciences is able to award nearly $300,000 in scholarships each year to incoming and current students. These scholarships assist with college financing and related expenses. In 2018–2019, the average scholarship awarded was $1,645.

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION PROCESS


Scholarship applications are available in the fall and spring for students who satisfy a wide range of criteria, from single parenthood to outstanding academic achievement.

CRITERIA

Scholarships are awarded based on the following criteria:

  • Criteria established by donor and/or scholarship fund (e.g. minority student, GPA, semester in academic program)

  • Financial need, in order from greatest to least
  • Responses to short answer questions completed during the application process

You must meet the following requirements to receive scholarships:

  • A 2.00 cumulative GPA for incoming or current MercyPLUS students
  • Admitted to Mercy College

Scholarship applications are open twice each academic year. Please use the chart below to determine when to apply.
