Lent 2019 at Mercy College of Health Sciences
Greetings! Once again, we will celebrate the season of Lent with various activities here at Mercy College. We at the College come from varying places of familiarity with the practices of Lent, and in order to share this treasure from our Catholic and Mercy Heritage more fully, the Mission and Ministry office is sharing more information about these celebrations here: https://www.mchs.edu/prayer
In brief (for more detail, click the link above):
Fat Tuesday: A pancake feast from our good friends at Chris Cakes! Tuesday, March 5, 11am - 1pm | Sullivan Center Lobby.
Ash Wednesday Wednesday, March 6 | Two opportunities for imposition of Ashes: 1) a Catholic Mass with Ashes at Noon, and 2) a Prayer Service with Ashes at 4:30pm. Brennan Hall Chapel.
Stations of the Cross A guided session of prayer where we consider “14 Stations of the Cross." A simple lunch of soup and bread afterward. Every Monday of Lent beginning at Noon with the Stations, and lunch after. Brennan Hall Chapel.
Please feel free to contact the Mission Officer (Bo Bonner: email@example.com) if you have any other questions!

Prayers and Reflections for Meetings
Here you will find prayers and reflections either written by Catherine McAuley, the Sisters of Mercy, or inspired by their Charism and Spirituality. Thank you for joining us this year, 2018 to 2019, in returning to the sources of our heritage as we pause to reflect about who we are, where we have come from, and where we are going!
