Below are resources and tools to assist students who are working remotely off campus.

Login Information
D2L ELEARNING  (LOGIN WITH: FIRST.LAST@STUDENTS.MCHS.EDU)

All courses at Mercy College utilize an online system called D2L-D2L(Desire 2 Learn) to post course documents such as syllabi, faculty contact information and assignment grades. Accounts will be created following initial course registration. More information can be found at  https://mchs.edu/Academics/Campus-Services/Distance-Education/d2l-Resources  

WEBMAIL  (LOGIN WITH: FIRST.LAST@STUDENTS.MCHS.EDU)

Students receive a Mercy College email account. Students are expected to check email regularly for classwork and college announcements. More information can be found at www.mchs.edu/studentemail.

MYMERCY  (LOGIN WITH: FIRST.LAST)

MyMercy is a way to access official student records online. This includes unofficial transcripts, online bill pay, course registration, and degree audits. More information can be found at www.mchs.edu/mymercy

LIBRARY

Mercy College Library connects you to quality information resources on campus or from home. Your D2L login is the login to the library databases, and if you are already logged into D2L, you are passed through to any library resource automatically. TECH & SUPPORT

Technology support is available through an online support form and by calling (515) 473-8158. The support hours and form can be found at www.mchs.edu/contactIT.

Microsoft Teams
HOW TO JOIN A MICROSOFT TEAMS COURSE SESSION
  1. Click on this Day view link to your Outook calendar.

  2. Click on your scheduled course (1) and then Join (2) as shown below.
  3. Follow the instructions to open the Teams web or application version.

REGISTRAR

Transcripts can only be mailed out at this time. Picking-up transcripts in-person on campus will not be an option until further notice. Request your transcripts online here. Contact Mercy College Registrar.

Laptop Request

If you believe you will have trouble attending classes remotely, please fill out the six question survey in the link below to request a laptop.
Only complete if:

  1. You are NOT a fully online student and would have otherwise used campus lab computer to do your school work.
  2. You do NOT have a Windows or Macintosh laptop available for use at home. (If you have  a Chromebook please fill out the survey because it will not work for exams.)
