Wireless Internet
Mercy College provides free wireless Internet for students on campus, which will appear under the wireless network name, Guest. Users of the wireless network must agree to 'Terms and Conditions' prior to use. For more information, please refer to: Wireless Network Access 

Campus Computer Resources
Mercy College provides computer work stations in three locations on campus. Students have access to equipment and software applications that are needed for academic assignments.
Laboratory computers use Windows XP Professional and Microsoft Office 2003. To ensure compatibility, saving files in a format compatible with Office 2003 is recommended. For directions on how to save files in Office 2003-compatible formats, refer to the files below:

Printing and Photocopying
Student printing is available in all computer labs with the help of a print control debit card. Photocopy machines are available in the library and large computer lab using the same print control debit system. Students receive 100 free copies each semester to cover essential printing and can add money to their account for additional copies throughout the semester. Copies are charged at $.10 per page.

Email Access
Students receive a Mercy College email account during orientation. Students are expected to check email regularly for classwork and college announcements.
Username and Password
Username is your first initial, last name and last two digits of your social security number (for example: asmith85).
Password is Mchs and the last four digits of your social security number. The password is case sensitive, so remember to capitalize the M. (for example: Mchs8577).
