Student Assistance Program

The Student Assistance Program offered by Mercy College is confidential and provides caring help for students experiencing personal and/or family problems. The program provides a choice of options in a private and relaxed atmosphere. Up to six appointments are offered annually free of charge.

Mercy Medical Center's team of professional counselors can help you with the following problems:

  • Test anxiety
  • Adjusting to step-family life
  • Self esteem issues
  • Assertiveness training
  • Depression/emotional problems
  • Alcohol, tobacco and other drugs
  • Stress management
  • Peer pressure
  • Family issues
  • School or home violence
  • Relocation adjustment
