Short-term Certificate Programs
Mercy College offers four short-term certificates providing quality educational offerings to meet the needs of health care employers.
Short-term certificate programs are held over the course of 7 to 17 weeks. A variety of day and evening courses are available. Classes are taught by leading professionals in various health care fields.
Application Process
The successful applicant for admission to the short-term certificate courses must complete the following:
- Complete the online Application for College Admission. The $30 non-refundable application fee must be paid by credit card (MC, VISA or Discover online). The application and nursing questionnaire may also be downloaded (found to the right) and mailed with the application fee.
- Download, complete and mail the program registration packet (found to the right) to the Mercy College Admissions Office, if applicable.

Short-term Certificate Program Application Deadlines
Applications to the Emergency Medical Technician-Basic, Medical Billing and Coding, Nursing Assistant and Pharmacy Technician short-term certificate programs must be received by the Office of Admissions by the following dates:
- Fall Semester - August 15, 2010
- Spring Semester - December 1, 2010
