The Yellow Ribbon Program Helps Veterans Financially  

Both the Department of the United States Veteran Affairs (VA) and Mercy College of Health Science have agreed to provide addditonal financial assistance to those who are serving this country.

The school contribution amount is $1,500 per student/per year and the VA will match this same amount/per year.

This program is only available to individuals who:

  • have served an aggregate period of active duty after September 10, 2001, of at least 36 months;
  • were honorably discharged from active duty for a service connected disability and you served 30 continuous days after September 10, 2001;
  • are a dependent eligible for Transfer of Entitlement under the Post-9/11 GI Bill based on a veteran’s service under the eligibility criteria listed above.
