Mercy College Progress Report accepted by Higher Learning Commission
Moines) – Mercy College of Health Sciences is pleased to announce that The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) has accepted its report which focused on support services necessary to accommodate growth in enrollment, and assessment of student learning. With this approval, the agency has indicated that it will return for its next regular campus accreditation visit during the 2013-14 academic year.
In reviewing the document, HLC staff commented, “The progress report submitted by Mercy College of Health Sciences was thorough and to the point, providing strong evidence in the narrative as well as in the appendices that indicate an appropriate and strong response to the concerns of the focused visit team. The College is commended for the healthy and strong development of the institution in the areas of student support, assessment and student satisfaction.”
