Mercy College Graduates 125 Students in 8 Healthcare Disciplines this Spring
(Des Moines) – Mercy College conferred 125 Associate and Bachelor of Science degrees at a ceremony held at Hoyt Sherman Place, 501 Woodland Avenue, Des Moines on Friday April 30, 2010.
These students graduated from the following academic programs; Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration and Nursing; Associate of Science Degrees in, Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Physical Therapist Assistant, Polysomnographic Technology and Radiologic Technology.
Dr. Kathleen Sanford, DBA, RN, CENP, FACHE, Senior Vice President and Chief Nursing Officer for Catholic Health Initiatives, Denver Colorado was the Commencement Speaker and Associate of Science Nursing graduate Sarah Erickson delivered the Student Farewell Address.
The commencement event was open to the public with a reception for graduates and their families in the Gallery area and hosted by President Barbara Quijano Decker.
