The Pinning and Commencement Ceremonies will be held at Veterans Memorial Auditorium 833 5th Avenue, Des Moines, Iowa 50309.

Schedule of Events

Pinning Ceremony for Associate of Science in Nursing Degree Recipients

Friday, August 20, at 1 p.m. (approximate length 50 minutes). Students check in at the auditorium lobby to verify attendance by 12:45 p.m.; doors open at Noon. Students are seated with family members and are called forward alphabetically to be pinned by a family member.

Commencement Ceremony for Undergraduate Degree Recipients

Friday, August 20, 2:30 p.m. (approximately 90 minutes). Students check in at the Gaskell Room by 2 p.m.; instructions and announcements for the processional and the recessional will be at 2:15 p.m.
