First-time College Students

You are classified as a first-time college student at Mercy College if you have never attended college or have earned fewer than nine (9) college credits after graduating from high school.

Official High School Transcript

A transcript is considered official when stamped with the official school seal, signed by the appropriate school official and received in a sealed envelope. During the application process, request that official transcript(s) be sent to the Mercy College Admissions Office from your high school.

An official General Education Development (G.E.D.) Certificate may be used in the absence of a high school diploma.

Submitting ACT or SAT scores

If you haven't taken the ACT or SAT test yet, students should request that a record of their scores be sent to Mercy College. Our ACT code is 1347; our SAT code is 2803.
