Iowa Hospital Association Scholarship
The Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation (IHERF), an IHA subsidiary, offers scholarships of up to $6,000 ($3,000 per year for a max of two years) to qualified candidates. Award recipients must be willing to work in an Iowa hospital for each year of scholarship awarded. Visit the Iowa Hospital Scholarship site to confirm eligibility and apply. Barbara Rhomberg Excellence in Nursing Scholarship
The Barbara Rhomberg Excellence in Nursing Scholarship, sponsored by B4 Brands, is awarded each year to five, non-traditional, fulltime students pursuing undergraduate degrees in nursing. All scholarship winners receive a non-renewable scholarship of $1,000 payable directly to the institution in which they are enrolled.

Forty & Eight Voiture 71 – Polk County Nurses Training Scholarship, is a $750 scholarship awarded on November 11, 2014. Applications are due October 6th.

The Des Moines area chapter of Soroptimist International annually gives this cash award to a woman seeking to improve her employment status by gaining educational skills.
