Adam J. Anderson Scholarship Program

This scholarship fund is to assist persons living in the Spencer area to pursue education and training to become a certified EMS provider (EMT-B through EMT-P) To learn more about his scholarship, click here. Application deadline is March 31,2012.

Ruth Cornwall Educational Loan Program

This fund is designed to be a self-perpetuating loan fund, not a scholarship fund. It is expected that a recipient repay the loan in a timely fashion. An applicant may borrow up to $2,000 a year. To learn more about this fund, click here. Application deadline is March 31,2012.

Bennie B. and Ernestine Shine Scholarship

The Shine Scholarship fund, administered by Spencer Hospital, annually awards funds to persons who have completed at least one semester of a nursing or allied health program.To obtain further information about applying for a Shine Scholarship click here. The application deadline for the Shine Scholarship is March 31,2012.

Nursing Home Abuse Awareness and Prevention Scholarship

The scholarship will cover non-tuition related expenses such as rent, childcare, textbooks, utilities and groceries for the 2012-2013 academic year. The application window is January 15th through February 15th. Click here to download the application and eligibility requirements.

Iowa Hospital Education Research Foundation Scholarship

Scholarship recipients are awarded $3,000 per academic year, with a maximum of $6,000 over two years. Work repayment in an Iowa hospital is mandatory. Scholarship recipients are required to work in an Iowa hospital one year for each scholarship awarded. Click here to download the application and eligibility requirements.
