Skiff Medical Center Auxiliary Scholarships
Skiff Medical Center Auxiliary in Newton will offer several scholarships for students interested in pursuing an education in nursing and other health-related careers.
Any student living in Jasper County or the area served by Skiff Medical Center is eligible to apply. The student should have documented academic credibility.
Deadline for application is Tuesday, March 29, 2016. Applications must be received by Skiff Medical Center by this date to be considered for a scholarship. For full details, download the scholarship's cover sheet.
Iowa Hospital Association Scholarship
The Iowa Hospital Education and Research Foundation (IHERF), an IHA subsidiary, offers scholarships of up to $6,000 ($3,000 per year for a max of two years) to qualified candidates. Award recipients must be willing to work in an Iowa hospital for each year of scholarship awarded. Visit the Iowa Hospital Scholarship site to confirm eligibility and apply. Barbara Rhomberg Excellence in Nursing Scholarship
The Barbara Rhomberg Excellence in Nursing Scholarship, sponsored by B4 Brands, is awarded each year to five, non-traditional, fulltime students pursuing undergraduate degrees in nursing. All scholarship winners receive a non-renewable scholarship of $1,000 payable directly to the institution in which they are enrolled.
Karman Healthcare Scholarship Fund
