Engaging the Community

Definition of Pillar:  Sharing the unique health resources of the College with our communities of interest.

Goal 4Gain recognition by local, regional and national communities of interest as a leader in the delivery and innovation of health sciences education.

Objectives:

Strengthen the College’s visibility and reputation with local communities of interest, including the Catholic Diocese of Des Moines, our clinical partners, and those who employ our graduates, as a resource for holistic healthcare education.

Strengthen the College’s visibility and reputation with the regional communities of interest through expanded clinical partnerships and increased recruitment of our graduates.

Strengthen the College’s visibility and reputation within national academic and healthcare communities, including our national partner – Catholic Health Initiatives, as a resource for solving workforce shortages and improvements to healthcare outcomes through evidenced-based academic programs.
