Students with disabilities can request academic accommodations through the Student Success Center by scheduling an appointment with the Manager of Student Success. Students must self-disclose and provide documentation by a qualified professional in order to be considered for accommodations.
Students with disabilities have the right to:
- equal access to academic and co-curricular programs and services
- reasonable and appropriate accommodations determined on an individual basis
- request disability services throughout the semester; self-disclosure must be timely

Assistive technology products and software is available in the Student Success Center and Library including Kurzweil 3000, Dragon Naturally Speaking, Zoom Text, Image Reader, and a Large Print Keyboard.
Mercy College of Health Sciences is committed to providing access and reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities. The College campus is handicapped accessible with designated handicapped parking, accessible doors for each building, elevators, ramps, and bathrooms that have been modified for accessibility. Curb cuts are available at street intersections. Curb cuts or ramps are available near handicapped parking for accessibility to sidewalks and building entrances.
