Adjunct Faculty Positions
Maintains a positive learning environment for students, provides advisement and guidance, develops and revises course content and evaluates students' learning experiences. We have openings in our Allied Health, Liberal Arts and Sciences, and Nursing programs.
Vice President for Acadmics Affairs and Provost
RESPONSIBILITIES: Reporting to the President, the Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost is the chief academic officer of the College and:
- Provides the intellectual vision and academic leadership for the academic and student services division of the College;
- Works in close partnership with the faculty, deans and staff in fostering a student-centered educational learning environment that supports the mission, vision, values and strategic plan of the College;
- Develops partnerships and cooperative ventures with educational institutions, health care systems, and community organizations in support of the College;
- Prepares the financial and enrollment projections for the Division and manages division budgets and resource allocations;
- Ensures compliance with applicable accreditation standards and regulatory requirements, and coordinates market and research analyses, program development, and implementation of new academic programs as approved by the Board;
- Seeks to identify new sources of revenue to support existing programs, as well as the creation of new programs, which promote and advance the College’s mission and aspirations;
- Provides leadership in strategic planning implementation for the academic enterprise and fosters the development and enhancement of academic programs through ongoing review and assessment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Earned doctorate from an accredited institution with a record of teaching, scholarship, and service learning;
- Experienced, creative administrator with demonstrated leadership and interpersonal skills needed to foster the continuing academic progress and vitality of the College and partnerships and relationships with varied constituents;
- A respected leader who has the ability to articulate, embrace, and promote the College’s Catholic identity;
- Demonstrated experience in distance education, strategic planning, accreditation, and assessment;
- Preferred experience in an academic or professional role within a health systems environment;
- A commitment to academic excellence, service, values-based leadership, and diversity.
COMPENSATION: Competitive and commensurate with experience.
BEGINNING DATE: Summer, 2010.
