Senior Teaching and Learning Specialist

We are seeking candidates who have a desire to provide instructional guidance for our teaching community.

Qualifications include a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Assessment and Evaluation or related and three years' experience in K-12, higher education and/or adult education.  Requisition number:  2015-R0031809.

Content Management Administrator

This is a new position for the College. Responsibilities include providing support for web-based systems including our Learning Management System, SharePoint and Office 365.

Financial Aid Coordinator

The position will be responsible for advising and awarding financial aid to eligible students.

Environmental Services Associate

We are seeking candidates to assist with the maintenance and cleanliness of the College campus.  Hours:  Monday - Thursday 12pm to 8pm.  Friday 10am to 6pm.

EMS Instructor

The Instructor will teach in our EMT and Paramedic programs as well as assist with CPR and advanced life skills training in our Mercy College Training Center.

Secretary, Student Affairs

The secretary will provide office support for the Vice President, Enrollment Management and Admissions and members of the Student Affairs and Admissions offices.

Secretary, Mercy College Training Center/Emergency Medical Services' (EMS) Programs

This position will be providing support for the Mercy College Training Center (an American Heart Training Center) which provides CPR and advanced training to individuals.  The incumbunt will provide some general office support for faculty teaching in the EMS programs.

Senior Institutional Research Analyst

The IR analyst will be responsible for fostering educational excellence by providing advanced data collection and analytic support for activites and projects.

Qualifications include a Master's degree in Statistics, Education, Psychology, Sociology or related field, demonstrated experience in assessment, and proficiency in conducting quantitative, mixed methods, or evaluation studies. Requisition number:  2015-R0025275.

Nursing Faculty

Currently seeking candidates for faculty in our School of Nursing. Responsibilities will include teaching in the Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs, providing guidance and advisement to students, participating in School policy and procedure development and collaborating with faculty to enhance the student learning outcomes.

Qualifications include a Master's in Nursing degree with the ability to obtain a terminal degree within a specified period of time, 2 years clinical experience, demonstrated experience in academic teaching and a current and valid Iowa RN license.  PhD preferred.  Requisition number:  2015-R0017725.

Dean, School of Nursing

We are seeking candidates for the Dean position in our School of Nursing. Responsibilities include for providing leadership and oversight for the academic programs within the School, setting vision and a strategic plan, ensuring student learning outcomes are met and all accreditation and College policies and standards are met.

Qualifications include a Ph.D. or Ed.D in related field, Master of Science in Nursing degree, 7 years' experience in nursing administration of undergraduate and graduate programs, 3 to 5 years' experience teaching in nursing in undergraduate and graduate programs and a current and valid Iowa RN licensure.  Requisition number: 2015-R0006611.

Adjunct instructors are needed to teach in the clinical environments for the Associate of Nursing program.

Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree in Nursing preferred) and 2 years experience as a RN. Current and valid Iowa Registered Nursing license is required.

Qualifications include a BLS certification in CPR for the Health care Worker and experience in health care delivery. CPR, ACLS and PALS instructors must have a current Instructor Certification.  For ACLS and PALS a minimum of 1 year experience as an ACLS or PALS provider is required.
