Currently seeking candidates for faculty in our School of Nursing. Responsibilities will include teaching in the Associate of Science and Bachelor of Science in Nursing programs, providing guidance and advisement to students, participating in School policy and procedure development and collaborating with faculty to enhance the student learning outcomes.
Qualifications include a Master's in Nursing degree with the ability to obtain a terminal degree within a specified period of time, 2 years clinical experience, demonstrated experience in academic teaching and a current and valid Iowa RN license. PhD preferred.
Dean, School of Nursing
We are seeking candidates for the Dean position in our School of Nursing. Responsibilities include for providing leadership and oversight for the academic programs within the School, setting vision and a strategic plan, ensuring student learning outcomes are met and all accreditation and College policies and standards are met.
Qualifications include a Ph.D. or Ed.D in related field, Master of Science in Nursing degree, 7 years' experience in nursing administration of undergraduate and graduate programs, 3 to 5 years' experience teaching in nursing in undergraduate and graduate programs and a current and valid Iowa RN licensure. Adjunct Faculty Positions
Adjunct Instructors are needed to teach Physiology courses.
Qualifications include a Master's degree in Physiology or related field and teaching experience in the field. Requisition number:
Adjunct instructors are needed to teach in the clinical environments for the Associate of Nursing program.
Qualified candidates will possess a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (Master's degree in Nursing preferred) and 2 years experience as a RN. Current and valid Iowa Registered Nursing license is required.
CPR, ACLS and PALS
Adjunct instructors are needed to teach CPR, ACLS and PALS courses.
Qualifications include a BLS certification in CPR for the Health care Worker and experience in health care delivery. CPR, ACLS and PALS instructors must have a current Instructor Certification. For ACLS and PALS a minimum of 1 year experience as an ACLS or PALS provider is required.
Skills Evaluators - EMS
Evaluators needed to assist with skills evaluations for students.
Qualifications include Evaluator endorsement from IDPH.
Adjunct Faculty -EMS
Instructors needed to assist with skills instruction for students in the EMT and Paramedic programs.
Qualifications include high school diploma and current National Registry EMS certification.
