The Mercy College Board of Directors is responsible to the Mercy Medical Center Board of Directors for the operation of Mercy College of Health Sciences. The College Board operates the corporation within a set of Articles of Incorporation and Bylaws that have been filed with the Iowa Secretary of State.

Board members serve rotating three-year terms and may serve up to three terms (total of nine years of service).
