Personal History
I originally entered the cardiac ultrasound field because I thought the technology was fascinating and I wanted a career where I could help people and make a difference each day. I definitely found those rewarding aspects as well as a profession full of variety and opportunities. After 5 years of scanning hearts in a busy hospital, a new opportunity presented itself in the form of a teaching career at MCHS. As an ultrasound student, I truly loved learning about the heart and blood flow hemodynamics and I knew then that some day I would like to share it with others. So, I eagerly accepted the position in June of 2007 and I can honestly say my passion for the field continues to grow with each graduating class.
