I have taught CPR for various organizations. I have been teaching nursing students since 2003.

Community Service Involvement

- 12 years with the Boy Scouts
- Various church committees, including one international medical mission trip to Africa to construct a birthing center.
Personal History
My Dad wanted me to follow him into anesthesia, but I told him I preferred my patients awake. My favorite time in nursing is spent with parents. I chose pediatric nursing because of the parents. I have spent many years in various nursing positions and I still came back to teaching parents. My family enjoys biking, mountain hiking, Renaissance Festivals, music and art festivals. I have spent many years as a band, orchestra, track and cross country parent supporting the teams in all the ways parent volunteers do.
