Bachelor of Science in Allied Health or Health Care Administration Programs
Have you recently graduated from Mercy College with an associate degree? We’d like to encourage you to return quickly, while you still have the momentum to complete your Bachelor of Science degree. To that end, we’re pleased to offer an alumnus scholarship intended to help recent graduates return to school to complete their Bachelor of Science in Allied Health (BSAH) or Bachelor of Science in Health Care Administration (BSHCA) degree.
Together, this new scholarship along with many health care employer tuition assistance programs might make the difference that helps you to achieve your next level of professional development!
Who’s eligible for this scholarship?
Any student who has completed an Associate of Science degree at Mercy College in the last 12 months and enrolls in the BSAH or BSHCA degree program by the third semester after completing their associate degree will be eligible. For example:

How large are the scholarships?
A total of $1,000 per alumni is available for two semesters the first year. There is no limit on the number of scholarships that will be awarded, so the money available won’t run out! During your first semester enrolled in either bachelor’s program you will receive a $500 scholarship. During the second semester of your enrollment you will receive an additional $500 scholarship. (The second semester must be consecutive to the first semester to earn the additional scholarship money.)
Many associate degree students put off returning to school in order to focus on taking their boards. While they often have a desire to earn their bachelor’s degree, they move on and never accomplish their goal. We hope that this scholarship will give you the added motivation to return to Mercy College and further your education. Find out more about scheduling a visit with one of our admissions counselors.
