Grant Coordinator, Violence Against Women
Mercy College, partnering with Drake University, Grand View University and Simpson College, has been awarded a 3 year grant from the Office on Violence Against Women. The purpose of the grant is to faciliate prevention education across all institutions in regards to sexual assault, domestic violence, dating violence and stalking.
The position is responsible for coordinating grant activities, across all institutions, including assessing training needs, coordinating training programs and in some cases, facilitating the training. Qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Health, Social Services, Counseling, Advising, Student Services or related field, experience with research projects or grants and demonstrated knowledge of Campus SaVe Act, Cleary Act, Title IX and Violence Against Women. Associate Dean, Nursing Clinical Education
We are creating a new position to provide oversight and management of clinical education for students within the School of Nursing. The position will serve as liaison for the College and clinical sites, coordinate clinical rotations for students, seek out new clinical sites and provide training for clinical instructors. The position may have teaching responsibility in a clinical environment. Adjunct Faculty Positions
Adjuncts needed to teach in online in the Public Health bachelor program. Qualifications include a Master's degree in Public Health, Communications or Education, 18 graduate credit hours in public health related courses and clinical experience working in a local or state public health department.
