Program Chair, Health Care Administration

The College is seeking candidates to oversee the online Health Care Administration degree program.  Responsibilities include teaching and advising students, managing the administration of the program, coordinating and assisting adjunct faculty and collaborating with Admissions for student recruitment.

Qualifications include a Master's degree in Health Care Administration or Business Administration and currently seeking a doctorate degree or the ability to obtain a doctorate degree within a specified period of time and 5 years' experience in health care administration including experience in higher education.  Requisition number:  2017-R0105836.

Assistant Registrar

The Assistant Registrar manages the operations of the Registrar's office ensuring student registrations are done accurately and timely, providing training to faculty and students on the online registration system and working with transfer guides and articulation agreements with other higher education institutions.

Nursing Instructor - 12 month.

Mercy College is seeking candidates for nursing instructor for the ASN and BSN programs.  Responsibilities include teaching in didactic, lab and clinical settings.

Qualifications include a Master's degree in Nursing, current and valid RN license, minimum 2 years' clinical experience and demonstrated experience leading and training others.  Requisition number:  2017-R0093224.

Adjunct Faculty Positions

Liberal Arts and Science

Adjuncts needed to teach Philosophy, Bioethics and Servant Leadership courses

Qualifications include a Master's degree in Philosophy or related field and demonstrated experience teaching or training others.  Requisision number:  2017-R0111033.


Adjunct instructors are needed to teach in the clinical environments for the ASN and BSN programs.

Qualified candidates will possess a Master's degree in Nursing and 2 years experience as a RN. Master's degree preferred. Current and valid Iowa Registered Nursing license is required.

Adjunct instructors are needed to teach CPR, ACLS and PALS courses.

Qualifications include a BLS certification in CPR for the Health care Worker and experience in health care delivery. CPR, ACLS and PALS instructors must have a current Instructor Certification.  For ACLS and PALS a minimum of 1 year experience as an ACLS or PALS provider is required.
